"On a working farm out in the quiet countryside. Beautiful location and wonderful hosts. Breakfasts are amazing - the bread is to die for."

"I booked this for a team during their work trip. They struggled to find the apartment and when I passed then the hosts number, they tried to call him on WhatsApp and"

"We had a great stay! Tim was easy to communicate with, the house was clean, and as other guests have said - the photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are good sizes and we had everything we needed. My daughter appreciated the tvs with access to app subscriptions. The hot tub is huge, very relaxing. Lovely to have a fire and outside space. Being next to the stream and right by the waterfall was a great bonus. "

"Loose decking boards bit of a trip hazard. One of the deckchairs had a rusty very sharp part on it which was dangerous."

"No wardrobe space in hotel room"

"Very nice hotel good location & pleasant staff"

"Property looks run-down with damaged wall and worn carpets. Old fashioned shower needed fiddling to balance from taps. Breakfast - good selection and reasonable value. Charged extra. Bed comfortable. Would rate barely as three star."

"Lovely hotel with very helpful staff"

"A convenient self-catering apartment close to the beach. A lovely welcome by the woman on reception and the cleaning staff also very nice. Kitchen area was well-equipped and the bathroom had a bath and shower. Bedroom was spacious. Only down-side was hearing the person in the apartment above us stomping around through the floor-boards! But I guess this is normal for a victorian building. Overall, very satisfied."

"The hotel was in a great location. The airport bus stopped about 10 minutes walk away. Marks and Spencer’s, local shops, esplanade and theatre are all within walking distance. The hotel offers a good breakfast and the rooms are a good size."

We took breakfast each morning which had a good selection of cereals, Bread Cheeses and cold meats. the cooked breakfast was very good. Just a short walk from Douglases High street but also right on the sea front. We had a fantastic 6 day here and I would recommend it to anyone. "Hotel very clean , when staff were around they were helpful, Location is good for views and although a bus stop fairly close it’s a good 15 min walk to pubs/ restaurants shops"

"The property was in an ideal location for all the Bowling Greens used for the Isle of Man Bowls Festival. Only 5 minutes walk to the local Tesco and 10 minutes to the sea front. The apartment was clean and comfortable with no noise from the other apartments in the building. When staying in the apartments you have use of the restaurant and bar in the sister hotel which us 2 minutes walk away. I would recommend to family and friends"

"The hosts, staff, position and breakfast were excellent. They fostered an atmosphere of welcoming, sharing, community. Exceptional part of our travels!"
