"Very clean and nice place, in an excellent location!"

"Considering the local foot traffic, there is security that walks the rounds. Tim Hortons next door but also consider Ricky's All Day Grill for menu options. Walking distance to Somba K'e park / Frame Lake walking trail. Even greater walking if you're up for a 30-45 minute walk to Old Town Bush Pilot Monument Walk north past Somba K'e park / Frame Lake towards Prince of Wales museum / NWT Legislative Assembly Plenty of taxis to get you to West end for Canadian Tire / Walmart ($20). "Pretty good place to stay. It does get a bit noisy around two a.m. since people come back from seeing the aurora, but if you’re part of that crowd or don’t mind, it’s okay. The owner is quite helpful and accommodating, and sets clear rules for the house. You share the bathroom with other people, but it mainly remains clean. The malls are around ten minutes away by foot, and it’s easy to get to. Meals aren’t provided, but you can bring food in yourself. Overall, I’d say it’s more than worth it...

"Really enjoyed our stay. The one issue we did have was responded to quickly"

"The house is so nice."

"とても素晴らしかったです！ オーナーの方も優しく、宿泊前の連絡もスムーズに行えました。キッチンには調理道具やスパイスもあったので、近くのスーパーでご飯を買って簡単に調理することができました！ランドリー設備もついていて、助かりました！ もしまたイエローナイフに行く機会があればここに泊まりたいです！"

The kitchen is well stocked with necessary appliances and has a nice dining area. The living room is nice but there is only 1 couch- it would have been nice if there was at least a love seat or comfy arm chair but we made do. The beds were comfortable and we had ample towels. There are two bathrooms however one has a tub only and the other a shower so is different than...

"Really enjoyed the added heated blankets, got a bit chilly in the evenings so really nice to cozy up with those"

"What an incredible stay! The home on Niven Lake was amazing, modern and cozy! We had everything we needed for 7 people to relax, cook together and have fun. The host responded immediately and with kindness when we had questions or needed guidance with something. She also texted a recommendation for us to attend a wonderful event in town. The house is walking distance into town, and we always took advantage of the trail along the lake to get us most of the way there. Warm, clean and...
