"Excellent customer service"

"This was a great location centered in the middle of everything you needed. Helpful staff. Glad we made the stop before Edinburgh. Fun little town."

"Clean + friendly staff + good for families "

"Very convenient for walking to the desired attractions and food. I had breakfast included in. It was a very good breakfast with lots of selection."

"We have stayed at the Majestic earlier this year and loved the hotel that’s why we returned. It’s a lovely impressive old building and close to the town. However, there were a couple of things that we were disappointed with this time, check in was exceedingly slow ……… couldn’t find our bookings etc., and the hot tub at the spa was closed again as it was last time. Though this time it was open when we went into the spa but when we went to go in half an hour later about 9.45am it was closed....

"Good food and excellent service."

"Stayed in room 416. Our main problem was the heat. I asked for the heating to be turned off so we could sleep and she said it was on auto and would go off soon. (We found it difficult to sleep due to the temp of the room) it came on again early in the morning. We used 2 fans but could not stand the heat in the room. It was a relief to go down to breakfast and escape it"

"Here for three nights. Comfy bed, upper floor so the sun streamed in our windows, maybe a couple of issues with the toilet flush but, otherwise, an excellent stay. Breakfast was hot and ample. The ground floor bar was convenient and staff were great. Ate one evening in the ground floor Italian restaurant. Staff were great there too, food was good, the white wine wasn't chilled."

"great location and nice quality as Malmaison always is, not all that keen on the rooftop restaurant though"

"Would stay again."
