"I absolutely loved this hotel. Staying in Ortahisar was a bit quieter than Goreme and the hotel is just a 10 minute walk from the little town with several great restaurants (Narin & Park Cafe were a few that we tried!). The Ortahisar Castle is also just a 10-minute walk into town and worth the visit! Other tours all offered hotel pick-up and we easily took a taxi to the Goreme Open Air Museum and dinner in a nearby town. The owner, Emre, and his team were great. He was in touch well before our arrival to help coordinate airport shuttles and activities for our stay. He was especially helpful with rescheduling our hot air balloon ride (first due to illness, then due to wind cancellation)."

We were able to watch the breathtaking sunrise with the hot air balloons floating over the valley, relax by the firepit overlooking Pigeon Valley, and enjoy the quiet moments that made this hotel so special. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our family’s needs were met and made us feel truly welcomed. The beauty, serenity, and hospitality of this place made it an experience we will always remember."
