What I got was a incredibly quaint comfortable room with my own bathroom, clawfoot tub shower, wonderful common areas inside & out to share with only a few people and to top it all off a most delicious breakfast AND enjoyable conversation with owner and other guests. Highly highly recommend!"

"This was possibly the worst hotel experience of my life. There was no one in the lobby ever. We waited about half an hour for someone to check us in. The carpets were very dirty and stained on the stairs. The room had no towels, no blankets and no pillow cases. We asked for all of these things but they never arrived. Do not recommend."

"Cozy little house for a quiet, simple getaway. The house is nice with plenty of room for guests , and a well-appointed kitchen. One of the few places we've stayed that had well-stocked and organized kitchen for utensils, pots and pans etc. The yard is nice and fenced, with everything that is described for the property."

"Fantastic spot! We stayed in "moose" and it was extremely clean/quiet. Close to all needed amenities and bonus was that they were set up with all the cooking utensils needed for meals. We wish we had stayed for more than one night and would definitely stay again if the need arose. The complementary coffee and tea were par none when compared to your usual hotels. The neighbourhood was very quiet and close to walking trails by the river. We walked to local cafes for our morning coffee. Overall great stay! "

"Beds were ridiculously high, the staff had to come in to get the furnace to work. It's right along Highway #3 so the sound of traffic at all hours. If you can sleep through anything, then this is the place for you."
