"Check in staff was excellent. The common areas were visibly dirty - not vacuumed/smudged on surfaces/food and drinks left on tables and chairs. Our room was terrible - very small and smelly. Was not serviced either."

"When I searched for Hotels in Avimore this came up at the top of the search. I really should have researched it more. The hotel is about a 19 minute drive from Avimore. Be aware of this if your intentions is to stay in Avimore. The hotel itself is okay, but its very dated. Strong smell of dampness in the hall. No central heating, electric heating only takes a long time to heat up the room. Electric showers too with limescale on it. Okay for a budget night away but it was not for me. The...

"Nice all round"

"Breakfast disappointing compared with past experiences, no tomato juice, no black pudding, eggs were moderately hot. Room excellent."

"No wifi as stated and this is a hostel not really a hotel, but as a solo traveler it worked for me. I stayed for 2 nights but really only slept there. The bus stop 15 minute walk away gets you anywhere for £2.00 and I love the area. I would stay again but only if they had wifi."

"The pool is only open till 6 PM, and the town surrounding closes down around 5:30 PM. Nearby is fantastic for touring. We did the falconry and loved it."

"no fuss booking, check-in and stay."

"Booked a 4 night stay……..Arrived….stayed 30 mins , in not a very clean room, just enough time to book somewhere else……then left…….quite simply ….not the best……"

"We booked this stay as we planned to do some touring in the highlands. We are so grateful we did. Nairn is a wonderful small town with great people, without the bustle of Inverness. Our hosts were incredible and the property was truly 5 stars! The à la carte breakfast in the morning was a surprise and was delicious. An awesome start to the day! Room was massive and well appointed. Plenty of parking and close to several points of interest. Would absolutely return to see more of what Nairn has to...

"The staff are so friendly the food was fantastic by far the best hotel in Speyside to enjoy all the local distillers"

"Clean modern room. I liked that there was a small kitchenette included. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants, cafes and the train station/ bus stops. A fantastic stay while in Aviemore."

"Great hotel all round. Spacious and clean room, friendly staff and large parking area. Welcoming atmosphere in the Bar too."

"Beautiful view. Perfect location for beach walks"

"Room nothing like the photos. Broken sky light with no blind. Wall paper peeling off. Filthy carpets, stained and very very unpleasant. Checked out after being there for 1/2 hour and just got " sorry". I have stayed in some unpleasant places but this was frankly disgusting . Waste of money, no refund offered"
