"The cabin was quite cozy. We don’t bring pets and didn’t notice any pet odors or pet hair anywhere on the property, so that’s a big plus for owner care. The taxidermed deer and fish were a real nice homey touch, as our family fishes and hunts. A couple more strategically placed lamps might improved the lighting significantly. We enjoyed our stay and wish we had been able to stay longer. You have a very nice property."

Unfortunately we had a few run ins with some mice during our stay, they were in the ceiling above us and we woke up both mornings with mouse droppings in the bed with us. The property manager said they were going to have cleaning look into this which is good but it didn’t help us for our stay. "I rented this cabin as a solo trip to reset. I was able to do that. The cabin was cozy and well stocked. I had to reach out to the owner once and got a quick response. While there were other cabins on the street, it was so quiet and I felt like I was the only one there. I spent a day at the lake and visiting morehead and really enjoyed the stay. "

"Would definitely recommend. This place was just as described and was a really nice place to stay that fit the needs of our family. The one thing I wish was that it was a bit closer to the Red River Gorge attractions, but there weren't many places left when I booked our trip, so I was super happy to have snagged this one. All in all the almost 1 hour drive from the house down to the Gorge wasn't too bad and we got to drive through the Nada tunnel a few times."
