"This is an excellent example of an "old Florida" resort. Truly friendly staff who are willing to help and engage in warm conversation, a sparkling pool, waterfront views, boats to charter, and I love that it is on the edge of a real neighborhood and not hidden away because the locals don't really want you there. It is the best of all worlds in a charming, waterfront setting. The gift shop is also a fantastic amalgamation of necessities you may have forgotten, stuff you may have wanted to buy, and actually unique gifts at multiple price points for anyone you may want to shop for.
