"This is not a nice hotel! The pictures are misleading, it looks like they are probably several years old. The hotel is much less inviting now. I guess it would be fine for travelers on a limited budget who don't mind very basic accommodations. The grounds were untidy with visible piles of garbage, the rooms were spartan and uninviting - the place looked more like a barracks than a hotel. I took one look at the place and my room, and left to find another hotel, even though I had already pre-paid....

We loved our stay at Soanambo. We were greeted with floral crowns and fresh coconuts on our arrival to hotel. The dinners were great, every night was a new, well-crafted 4 course meal. Almost everything was great. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was great. The pool was nice as it's very hot in Nosy Be. Exchange rates were reasonable, and the prices for souveniers and food was no higher than on the main drag. The only surprising thing was that the less expensive rooms included breakfast in the price, while the expensive rooms did not. Very strange. The breakfast was only OK. Strong recommend.

This place was beautiful and the staff is amazing. My favorite things were listening the the waves at night and then having fresh fruit juice in the morning for breakfast. The ONLY thing I didn’t like is that it was about an hour taxi ride to the town of Hell-Ville which is where you can actually experience some of the Malagasy culture. However, the staff made great arrangements for us and the taxi always arrived on time.

We had a wonderful experience here! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! The rooms all have large terraces that face the ocean providing wonderful sunsets. All meals are delivered to your table on your terrace and they make a lovely presentation. The rooms are large and clean. Shower is large with good water pressure. We stayed a week and used it as a base for excursions. The infinity pool is delightful and the gardens are beautiful. Beach is a 12 minute walk so we only...
