"Air-conditioning non functional gave up in end Bathroom a bit musty fan not working Which seems to be normal in hotels these days Was very busy so staff seemed a bit short at times 2 cleaners arguing in lift lobby so we had to wait for lift until they had finished Been here before don't think will be back a third trip Not for the price we paid"

"On arrival at the Hamilton was greeted by five other guests who also found their key codes wouldn't let you in to the property! After calling the number provided on the email we all received we were able to ascertain the code for the door wasn't the same as the one for our rooms, as this wasn't clear on our 1st emails!! This information wasn't given to me until a later email... The room was however clean ish but found the bed was of poor standard, with also to be found the toilet roll holder to...

"Trying to get access to information to the property was hard work. Multiple attempts to get the code and room number details. Key pad difficult to use. Was locked out on one occasion. Had to ring help line at 1 am as key pad would not work. Bed uncomfortable, thin mattress. Rusty radiator in bathroom. Peeling paint in the bathroom. Late check in of 4 pm and early check out of 10am quite restrictive of somewhere costing well over £100 per night.Sadly would not recommend due to the above issues...

"Easy booking in on arrival, staff very helpful and explained how things work. Great size room with fans supplied already in the room. Breakfast was great and exactly what we ordered. Overall a great stay"

"Such a lovely and homely place to stay with an excellent and friendly host in Jo, and then wonderful and polite locals in the pub. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we were just made to feel welcome by everyone"

"Fantastic location, only a short walk to the Castle, Cathedral and older parts of the City, avoiding the Steep Hill. Added bonus is to have parking on site, albeit a little bit of parking jenga at times having to move cars around to accommodate other guests wanting / needing to move. Staff are very nice as were the other guests who you sit with in the shared tables at breakfast."

"Our stay was very good. It was in the middle of the steep hill. So, was a minute walk from Lincoln castle. Around the hotel was lovely boutique shops and cafes. The a Hotel had a coffee shop that served lovely food. We would definitely return to Rest hotel. 😍"

"Very close to the Lincoln Cathedral. It is a hike up the hill but lots to see along the way. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. Good food and very good service."
