"Very well maintained grounds. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. A couple of areas needing repair around the exterior of the rooms with siding falling off. The ice machine was broken for the duration of our stay, but was working again as we were leaving. The service members would bring large buckets of ice to our room though. "This is a great hotel for a less expensive option on Bora Bora. The food is only fair. The rooms are good. We had a few items not in good working condition...a soap pump that kept breaking, a towel rack that kept coming off the wall. The staff was very pleasant. Very pretty grounds. I would stay here again. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime luxury trip to Bora I would go to one of the high-end resorts on the motus though."

My recommendation is to rent a scooter or rental car to experience the other local restaurants as to there are a distance away from the lodge."

"This is an awesome place - lovingly created and cared for by the owners. There is beautiful art all around and the view is amazing. But keep in mind that it's not for everyone. It's set back on a hill in the jungle. Getting to the beach involves riding a bike 15-20 minutes or renting a scooter or car. We got a car. I wouldn't recommend it for seniors, young children or people with mobility issues. There are some steps down to the bathroom and the walkways can be a little tricky for older folks. "

"We absolutely LOVED our stay here! Everything was exactly as described and we enjoyed every second of our stay! From snorkeling off the dock, playing cribbage on the deck at sunset, and getting the surprise of a lifetime when a flying fish paid us a visit, soaring out of the water twice in dramatic fashion! And a couple visits by rays as well!!!The rental car from Nir was so convenient, and he and his wife were available to us for all our needs! Phenomenal vacation! I hope we get to do it again...
