"Always a lovely stay but was disappointed that the restaurant was closed for refurbishment the temporary restaurant was more like a canteen feel to it."

"Wonderful period building literally 3 minutes walk from Albert Dock. Hotel was clean and well equipped and had a real boutique feel. Staff were ama ing and so friendly and helpful. Firstly its impossible to get any email/facebook response, they just ignore you On arrival there was a massive line for check in so it took about 40 mins waiting in a hot reception area. Requested a high floor, didnt get one. Room was like a sauna with no air con and no fan. No toilet roll in the room, not even 1. "Its a beautiful place and the staff was amazing, friendly and very willing to help, room was clean and the breakfast gave different many breakfast choices to choose from. Great initiative from staff despite the high temperature they ensured there was always ice cubes available for the rooms and offered free ice cream during the day. Very close proximity to the sea, town and other places of interest."
