"Amenities and the wonderful staff! "

"A lovely location and unique building layout. Our room was great, the bed comfortable, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good with freat service. The only reasons that we didn't give it an excellent was the lack of a toilet seat (which they remedied by opening the second bathroom) and the cooking tools were very limited."

Convenient location too: about 15 minutes from the center of Monemvasia, so you’re close to the action but in a quieter spot. Overall, great value for a relaxed, quality stay."

"Well signposted from the main road to know where to go and an easy parking lot to find. Julia checked me in and she was absolutely lovely. So helpful and kind. The room is fantastic and plenty of space. Bathroom was a good size and there was plenty of space for my bags. A small dining table with tea and coffee was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!! "

"Beautiful hotel! Wow, what a hidden gem!! Came here to see where my husbands family is from and we were blown away by the beauty! This is probably the best and most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Everything was perfect and the views are incredible!! Can’t wait to come here again and make this a stop when we travel to Greece. The personal hot tub was so cozy and relaxing after traveling all day. A must stay!! "

Monemvasia has managed to capture and maintain the feel of an ancient fortification while giving one the comforts of modern civilization (indoor plumbing!) The Likinia Hotel is well located, about a 5 minute walk away from the main street and sufficiently separated. At times you even have the feeling that you have the whole fortress to yourself. "NO HOT WATER THE ENTIRE STAY, despite every day complaining and every day told that it was fixed, but it wasnt!!! The bar was shut, the reception was closed, the rooms flooded from the rain, the buffet was not open because there were not enough people staying in the hotel. I understand it was the first day of the season we arrived, but we overpaid for what we received. "

"The standard room with is great size, you can easily have 2 large suitcases in the room. The balcony it's self is fantastic . Room is clean and in great conditions. Although some of the fixings in the toilet does need some attention. The breakfast is great, the parking was easy at the property and even better we could charge our Electric Vehicle (EV) at the vicinity (at a cost on third party) and that's priceless considering Mani peninsula is remote in location.
