"Amazing stay with my husband & two Sons. We are from England, so loved the cultural differences in this hotel. Staff were polite & helpful. Location was round the corner from Kyoto Station. Accessible to subway & meeting points for day trips. Traditional breakfast, which was excellent. They even accommodated me, as vegetarian. We loved the traditional Japanese onken & the yakatas provided for us to relax in. I would whole-heartedly recommend this as a fantastic place to stay & a cultural...

"Had an amazing stay! The hotel was centrally located and very clean."

"Best location"

"We requested the cleaning staff to refill ten soap dispenser but it was left almost empty for all the 3 days we stayed"

"A great hotel in every imaginable aspect. Location is great. Rooms are spacious and well kept and cleaned. Amenities include private and a public onsen, a fitness facility, and a laundry facilitiy that uses Suica card. Staff is friendly and supportive. Dinner was extraordinary."

"Our family stayed at Oakwood Hotel Oike Kyoto and it was lovely! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful and accommodating, overall I would highly recommend anyone coming to Kyoto to stay here! :) I also had a little incident with the hair dryer and I told the staff when I was checking out. I told them to charge it to the room but they were not concerned about that, they asked me if I had burned myself. They were so thoughtful to this clumsy tourist!"

"The hotel room and view was amazing! I could not have asked for a better view experience!"

"This hotel has a spa and hot springs and relaxation lounge with drinks, lounge chairs, tv, and amenities in the bathrooms along with cold soak and steam sauna. We did t eat there at all but the staff is great and cute decor and plenty of amenities. We had a king size bed which was amazing and pajamas provided to use at hot springs/onsen. Great location. Will return. Thanks."

"Nice hotel close to all transportation to attractions . Great breakfast, too."

"大浴場、朝食、室内も広く清潔感がありしっかり休む事が出来た"

"Beautiful property. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was extremely gracious and helpful and most spoke okay English. Food was atrociously expensive (we ordered half a sandwich and fries (about 15), and a cup of coffee (no refills) and it came to about $40 USD. Breakfast buffet was 5,000 yen. A cup of coffee was 1,500 yen, or about 7 USD."

"The hotel overall is amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Love the fact that has laundry in the hotel."

"Good location. Excellent breakfast buffet."
