"As a former hotel manager of small to mid-size hotels in downtown and smaller communities, I was frustrated to see deferred maintenance and cleaning in many areas. Of two elevators, one was out of order entirely. The elevator doors were dirty. Some floor indicator lights did not work. "The place was too warm. There's an AC unit, but it blows hot air from the back and cold air from the front. So it's basically useless. There's supposed to be an exhaust hose attached to the back of the unit which blows the hot air out of the room, but there wasn't any. We had the door opened for a bit to cool off the place. Also, there are no windows that can be opened. Besides that everything else was good."

"Stunning property. There’s a common kitchen and other areas but you still have your own room and washroom with shower. Super friendly hosts and the animals on the property add so much character! We went for lots of walks and saw chickens, plum trees, mountains, farmland, flowers, it was a beautiful stay."

"This studio suite is large and very well laid out, making maximum use of available space. It looks like it was recently redecorated. All appliances worked well, the kitchen was well-stocked. It didn’t take me long at all to feel right at home! If mobility is an issue, be advised the suite is on the 2nd floor. Lots of available parking. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful time. Rooms were excellent. Kitchen could have been better stocks, for example, a larger pot, a cookie sheet. One of the beds was a cot, for which there was no bedding, and the sofa bed was not comfortable. We were 6 and it would have been really crowded for 9."

"I loved how cose to the lake this place is! And, the kitchen was perfect. Having a dog restricts restaurant access but it was easy to make meals in the suite."
