"We stayed here on the 19th May ready to talk the shuttle to France. The staff were friendly proffesi and answered any questions. The room was lovely very clean everything you would expect with real comfy beds. The hotel is in the perfect location to walk along the sea front or have a stroll through the gardens at the back. Would highly recommend this hotel and stay again."

The life was not working, when asked for water bottle to buy the receptionist said they run out of suppply She said the same when asked for complimentary Tooth brush and paste in the morning. Terrible breakfast, no boiled eggs, but the frozen ones. No bananas for breakfast, the toaster was damaged, I have seen the customers left with having burnt toast. "We stayed for 3 nights, we were out and about most of the time so didn’t eat or use the bar but the staff were excellent and very helpful when we asked for things at reception. The renovation didn’t impact us at all and it’s nice to see that they’re bringing the decoration up to date. Our room was clean, modern, spacious and well equipped and the lounge was a blessing. We really enjoyed our stay and won’t hesitate to book here the next time we are in town."

"The spa is the only thing that saves this hotel as without it it would be a very poor hotel. Rooms are very dated, our bed was like a camp bed very uncomfortable. Breakfast in Sage took an hour to be served and it wasn’t even busy. "We went for a relaxing spa. Firstly, the air conditioning wasn’t working in our room, one of the hottest days so far, was told they would check and in the meantime there was a fan in the cupboard. No fan, but a heater!! Phoned reception again to let them know and then said they would come back to me. Went to reception and we changed rooms which was a much better room anyway.
