"Amazing stay with my husband & two Sons. We are from England, so loved the cultural differences in this hotel. Staff were polite & helpful. Location was round the corner from Kyoto Station. Accessible to subway & meeting points for day trips. Traditional breakfast, which was excellent. They even accommodated me, as vegetarian. We loved the traditional Japanese onken & the yakatas provided for us to relax in. I would whole-heartedly recommend this as a fantastic place to stay & a cultural...

"Very accommodating staff to English tourists. Breakfast at the restaurant was fantastic. Location was central for all our daily outings"

"Great staff, tidy accomadation, comfy beds and great location"

"Room was fine, especially good for solo traveling. Public bath was okay, not as clean as other places but probably due to foreigners who don't know how to behave. For example, some showers people left their bowl full of their dirty water, instead of flipping the bowl back upside down and cleaning their station."

"女性専用フロアなので安心して宿泊できました"

"Beautiful, comfortable hotel, but we were entirely mislead by the booking. We booked a room that sleeps 5 and, although there was just 4 of us, we were charged $10000 extra yen per day for an extra person. $200 USD extra total for our stay. We won't be back."

"Location was great for train stations and restaurants."

"The tadami was really dirty..."

"I loved the sento (Japanese bath). Room is small but clean and quiet. On the edge of Kabukicho, as the name implies, there’s good food close. I’d stay there again."

"Location is great and quiet with a train station very close to the hotel. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe throughout my stay. The room was small but perfect for one person, with everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, and excellent water pressure. I experienced racism during my stay, and when I tried to explain the situation to the manager on duty, she didn’t understand one thing - she did was nod, without offering any real response or support and this was on my birthday too!...
