"The hotel looks clean, but our room had such a strong smell of mold/mildew that it made me sick. I complained to the girl at the front desk and was told very unapologetically they had no other rooms and I could take it up with the manager at 7am the next morning. We suffered thru the night and the next morning I went down to the desk around 9am and there was no one around. We went to leave about 15 minutes later and finally there was a person at the desk. We explained the problem and was told...

"We stayed one night there. Booked a king size bedroom. Quiet location. Bed was decent. Room was clean and updated. Nice bathroom. No complaints."

"We were in town for a concert and the price was right but the staff was not welcoming or helpful. The staff member had no welcome, you’re in room cuz, or the elevator is this way, or breakfast is from 6-10. The air conditioning unit worked well and the beds were comfortable, but one bed was missing a panel on the headboard. Not as clean as one would expect. Would I stay again? Only if no other option."

"It is located next to the fairgrounds. Our first room was musty smelling and the floor boards were up off the floor as in water damage. The next room we had smelled musty as well. Many dead bugs, but the biggest problem was the mattress cover was covered with rust and many stains. Toilet leaked too."

"This was a unique and very enjoyable visit. We enjoyed the site as it sits in the woods. The birds of the area were plentiful and great in the morning. The room was great with a marvelous bathroom. Comfortable bed. The breakfast we had there was excellent. A wonderful choice."

"The pond did not look like it did in the picture and it was a disgusting color and did not have a beach walk in area. There was also a bug in the refrigerator and on the floor by the refrigerator and then another bug by the garbage can and there was dog food from previous people that wasn’t picked up also thought it was ridiculous at 830 in the morning there was a mowing crew outside that was woken up to on my vacation and I took pictures of it "

"High quality room, with farm privacy and atmosphere. We would recommend it and stay there again. Only one thing: The ladder to the loft bedroom is quite steep. My wife struggled a bit with it. But then, she is in her late 60's. Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend. A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, as we enjoyed our privacy."

"Pretty nice stay overall. Location's clean and quiet. Deer and peacocks around if you like those. Hard to get lost. Only 5 miles off from stores if you need to pick something up. Negatives: I'm short and had a hard time reaching things, so I had to buy a stool (that's a me problem, I realize). The wi-fi never worked so I had to rely on mobile data (TV streamed through satellite so that was fine). Dealt with a lot of spiders and flies. Didn't try the hot tub because two wasps were hanging around...
