"First time back in 10 years, and first time staying at the resort. Had a great time and all personnel of the resort were very helpful and friendly. Room was fine and the bed very comfortable. Enjoyed the casino as we always have in our previous trips. We will certainly be back. Thank you."

"Older Motel but was very clean! Employees were very nice. We stayed 2 nights and was supposed to stay a 3rd but we had to leave due to storm coming. They were very nice and refunded the 3rd night to us. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Cherokee."

"I stayed on the second floor in a 2 queen suite with a private balcony. Even with the 2 queen beds, the room was plenty spacious. The beds were excellent! The entire property was extremely clean and well maintained. The balcony overlooking the Tuckasegee River is wonderful. However, if the Best Western people read this, we need more than 2 chairs on the balcony. The amenities are great. There's guest laundry facilities on each floor. However, Best Western people, There's no ice or vending on the...

"Very nice and relaxing stay"

"Everything was great except the toilet was not working."

"Was nice being on the river with a small sitting area outside. Super nice family staff. That being said, no bath towels in the room and had to ask, no tv remote in the room and had to ask, there was almost an inch gap on the hinge side of the door which let in light and noise, and finally, there were no disposable cups in the room and no coffee maker. You would think they would have these issues fixed since it was as slow as it was."

"It was wonderful. Everything was decorated for fall. Rocking chairs on the porches. So relaxing and close to many shops. Loved the fireplace and hot tub. Told my family all about it so they could visit."

"The room was clean and the staff was courteous. The bed was too soft and the linens did not fit the bed and was torn. I ask for them to change the sheet and replace which they did but they did not fit. The ice machine was in repair. The bed was the biggest problem."

"The entire place was being remodeled, there were old appliances and furniture sitting everywhere. Parking spaces were blocked with trash bins and pallets. Wasn’t very pleased. Would have liked to know before booking"

"Nice, old fashioned place!"

"Our stay at Skyline Lodge was terrific … the Frank Lloyd Wright motel has been perfectly preserved with a sense of detail, simply beautiful … nestled in nature with hiking nearby and very convenient to downtown. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and Oak Steakhouse was amazing, wonderful atmosphere, service and delicious food! We’re definitely going back!!!"

"Wish they had more breakfast items"

"Hotel is outdated but clean and quiet. Had a ton of parking. Very close to the casino. My TV wasn't working but the lady working the front desk came up quickly and fixed it for me. No complaints"

"The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property. The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person...

"Staff always called back if we needed anything."
