Family Hotels in Hillingdon from SAR 330

"Reception / front desk service appalling - understaffed and not able to do anything other than the bare minimum. This hotel would be ok for sole travelers / basic requirements but badly set up for families with kids in particular. After-sales bad also - I have requested a refund for a breakfast package purchased in advance which was unavailable and the hotel has not responded to message sent via Expedia app 4 days ago. "

"Arrived for a 2 night stay to be told our second night was cancelled due to government take over of the hotel. No call/email warning us of this so we arrived with two tired children and couldn’t then check into our room for three hours whilst I called hotels.com to try and sort it out. Hotel staff were useless and wouldn’t even make eye contact or offer help. Ended up ringing the USA for hours as hotels.com don’t have a UK switchboard. Abysmal service"

Explanation being ‘they’re doing something in the kitchen’ but not communicated at any point in the booking process. Also never mentioned gym or pool during check in so maybe that was closed too..."
