From the moment we landed in Lana’i we were greeted by welcoming Four Seasons Ambassadors. It was a short shuttle ride to the breathtaking resort. My overall experience at the Hotel far exceeded any of my expectations. The staff was always ready to assist you with excellent service.

Beach is not good. Very small swimming area. Lots of rocks even there. Need reef walkers. Hapuna beach state park is about 15 miles north of this hotel. That is a great beach.

Beautiful property in a perfect location. Super clean and amenities galore. The suites are perfect for a family. Towels for pool and beach are provided, along with sunscreen, beach toys, snorkeling gear for kids, Towels for day trips are provided from valet. 10/10

They treated us like royalty. Private, beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer. The way the resort is set up its as though the beach is private, even though all public beaches in Hawaii are public. All of the staff knew my name, even those I hadn't talked to. All of the staff was great. The manager of Hoku's was the best.

Staying at The Ritz-Carlton Waikiki was an experience I just have to share. Honestly, it was the customer service that blew me away – it's like they've set a whole new standard. Imagine rating them 100 out of 10; that's how good they were. When our bidet had an issue, they had it replaced in less than 30 minutes. Needed a remote? Boom, delivered in 30 minutes as well. The valet parking wasn't just convenient, it was lightning fast. But, let me tell you, the real MVPs of our stay were the staff....

This is easy. My wife and I are near 50 and have traveled to Hawaiian Islands five other times. We are able to travel a lot and have stayed in hotels on 6 continents. We agree that Koa Kea is the BEST place either of us has ever stayed! If you have kids and want a water park, go next door to the Sheraton or the Marriot. If you want peaceful, beautiful, couples luxury with a superlative staff and facilities and a top notch restaurant, GO to this boutique hotel. We will DEFINITELY go back...

The room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. The hotel staff were professional, courteous, and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was the best hotel breakfast I have had in years, with rotating options, an omelet bar, and fresh cut pineapple. It was an all around 5 star stay.

I like that this property is so close to the beach and shopping area. The gym and laundry facilities located on the same floor was convenient. I was able to work out while waiting for the laundry to be done. The manager’s reception with live music and the breakfast with miso soup daily sweet fresh pineapple were really enjoyable. The hotel location was very convenient for our stay and easy access to all what you need - restaurants and groceries. Walking distance to Costco if you're its member and taking advantage of it, especially its gas price was much cheaper to the others when you have rental car like me. The hotel is very close to the airport, but I didn't feel much noise bothering my sleep there. Hotel parking is $10 per night for my stay.
