Hotel Riu Montego Bay - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"Riu Montego Bay is definitely a party resort. There will be daily Resort hosted parties towards the end of the night but even more so the resort seemed to be overwhelmed by youthful adults wanting that " party" experience with a focus on hooking up. This isn't a bad thing at all but something to be mindful of if you're looking for a more relaxed vibe. The resort is central and an easy commute to a lot of excursions and the night club scene with notable clubs. The resort beach was beautiful and much more refreshing and cleaner than the pools. The buffet food was pretty good but will say the sports bar that has the late-night eats is underwhelming to say the least. They only serve a few things that might've been there all day. The nacho station is also poorly maintained as the protein option is rarely available. Our room service was impeccable, cleaned daily and cleaned well with no personal items turning up missing. Lastly, the general vibes of Riu, the guest and sometimes the staff and perhaps just Jamaica in general was highly sexualized. People will constantly flirt with you and sometimes touch you without permission and inquire about personal information. I was told by a guest to keep my wits about me considering I was a female traveler, so I just recommend the same. Keep a buddy system, don't give out too much personal information, particularly when you're checking out of your hotel and stay safe."

"It was a beautiful place to stay at, I think I probably have only one complaint, they run out of stuff quickly and are not completely stacked with a lot of things and for being a big resort they should be over stocked !!!"

"The staff was really nice and courteous. The facilities was clean. Pool and gym really nice. Night entertainment. Hunters had excellently prepared meals. Day and night entertainment. Bar tenders really nice and keep the vibes going. Room confortable with amazing views"

"I travelled solo to Roundhill. The hotel was perfect in every way. I have travelled extensively and I would rate the hotel as one of the best that I have ever stayed in. The Managing Director/General Manager is outstanding. The hotel employs over 300 staff who have been impeccably trained. It is very high end and I cannot find fault with anything that it does."
