"Booked this hotel for 1 night. After arriving at the hotel I was asked to pay for the parking (£10/night) First of all charging hotel guests for the parking is ridiculous but even worse when I’ve heard that if you book the room with hotel directly then parking is free but booked through Expedia is not… the same guest - different treatment. It’s a scam. Room itself was very dirty - all cups and cutlery in the room had stained marks, glasses in the bathroom had still toothpaste residue on them....

"Our grandson said everything especially his mezzanine bedroom was amazing ! And for us the cabana suite its location and view, everything spotlessly clean. The whole of the park and facilities, we will recommend to all our friends."

"The hotel was very grotty. The room was very small. The ceiling light fitting had exposed wires. The bathroom lino was jagged & torn in places. Very loud vent below bedroom window. We had two double beds in the living room and still plenty of space, and a separate bedroom with another double bed and the bathroom. "Firstly, location is perfect. Just on the edge of the village and the start of the Llanberis path is right outside, so no driving or parking charges if you intend walking Snowdon on this route. Staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfast was pretty good. However, the building itself could do with some updating and our room was pretty tired in terms of decor. "We had a lovely stay here with our baby and toddler. The location was excellent just a short walk to the beach, and the castle was directly opposite, which looked beautiful lit up at night. There were plenty of nearby shops, cafés and places to grab breakfast, food and ice cream, making everything really convenient. It’s also a great spot for anyone who enjoys fishing. "This is a nice hotel but I would advise booking a room on the second floor as none of the rooms have carpets so I didn't get a lot of sleep due to the people upstairs repeatedly getting up and walking about at all hours followed by the draymans delivery early in the morning which was right below my room. Its a perfectly good stay and very well situated in Bala,.... just make sure you book a second floor room."

"In the first room 87 I think we had something underneath the carpet beside the bed. I did report it. I didn’t like having to take my bags through the streets to the room but could’ve easily been done by the people there. I didn’t realise that you had to go 100 yards down the road to go to the room.
