"We enjoyed our stay. Great staff and service. Very clean and a good dinner buffet. The hotel is a bit of a hike uphill. Google maps might tell you to approach from the right, go behind the hotel and come around to the entrance. This route has a bunch of uneven steps and is somewhat steep. It’s better to approach from the left side up a paved road with an even incline."

"This was by far my greatest stay so far in japan. Amazing food, amazing building, amazing onsen! But westerners be wary, you will need to sacrifice some of your typical understanding of amenitys, theres no showers in the rooms, and very little english is spoken in this whole town. That being said i cant rate it less than 5 stars! If you come to this hotel, be prepared to eat (amazing) foods you never thought youd try, and immerse youself in the japanese culture. If you do not want to immerse yourself, this may not be the place for you."

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The onsen was well-maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment — a perfect way to unwind after exploring Kusatsu. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!"
