"We stayed here during a stretch of extreme heat, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. While the basic housekeeping seemed okay and the motel has an older, rustic charm, the room's air conditioner was completely unable to cool the space—to the point where it was actually warmer inside the room than it was outside.
Because the room was not comfortable or safe for a full night's sleep, we had to leave in the middle of the night and find alternative accommodations, ending up...

"The air conditioner did not work well. The room at its lowest was 78 degrees. The staff did give us extra fans but it didn’t help. There was a microwave but no utensils. A coffee maker but no coffee cups. One roll of toilet paper for two nights for four people. Not satisfied at all."

"Sheets were fantastic. House needs a little work. The heat was good, hot water was good, coffee pot worked fine. The living room rug is bad, needs to be tossed. The on duty manger was very helpful with the lock. Would probably stay again if needed."

"We found bed bugs. The manager offered another room but this place was so run down, we left and had to drive 50 minutes away to find another hotel at 12:30 am. The blinds on the window facing the Main Street were in terrible shape. I had to improvise with a bath towel to keep people from seeing right in our room. There is a large hole in the floor that was carpeted over. Unbelievable to me that VRBO would accept this property! Very disappointed! "
