"This is a wonderful place to spend a few days. The ryokan is very authentically Japanese. The staff was helpful wherever we needed them. The food Is good, though our best meals were in restaurants in Takayama. Most of all, the hot springs are AWESOME. The water is so thick with minerals, so rich. We didn’t want to leave."

"We have never stayed at a hotel like yours, an authentic Japanse style with wonderful hot springs. Especially, we
were impressed with gorgeous breakfast sitting around Irori."

"The staff and hotel are amazing. Really nice food and amenities. The only thing to improve on is the curtains in the room. They let in light and if you need darkness to sleep they make it hard to do so. The onsens are an absolute plus!! Wish we had more days here."
