"This hotel is iconic and you really feel it throughout the property. Nostalgia is high. Food was good. We had Sunday dinner and it was delightful. Even the bar food was high standard. Two slight downsides - found a dirty sock under the bed when we were leaving, which made us wonder how well it was cleaned. And the shower pressure was not great. Wife with long hair had trouble washing it. To be fair to hotel, we only advised them of this when we left so don’t know if they could have fixed...

"Very pleased with our second stay at this hotel which is in easy walking distance of the edge of the town with close bus stops nearby with their very reasonable bus fares for seniors. Its a modern well kept hotel with a good breakfast variety. The rooms are very comfortable and not far from the centre and the airport. The staff are friendly and helpful as you would expect. "I don’t normally leave reviews, but the apartment was amazing. The host left a bottle of wine and other amenities which was a very nice touch and much appreciated. The room was missing toilet roll accidentally and as soon as I messaged this was rectified immediately. I will definitely be staying here again. Great location - Morrisons, McDonald’s, coffee shops etc all walking distance. 15min walking distance from the main city centre as well."

"I was travelling alone, but the apartment would comfortably suit a couple. It was walking distance from the airport and even closer to the beach. Very good kitchen area with everything required for self catering and enough restaurants close by if you want to eat out. Small balcony which only got sunshine first thing in the morning. It was very hot during my stay but the two air conditioning units were more than up to the task of keeping the rooms comfortable. Everything was very clean and...

"Great location for scenic views but a long walk to get a drink at a pub or late night eats. However I love walking so clocked about 15 kilometers and 50 flights of stairs on my last day. The hike up the rock is intense but recommended. You can also get a van if you are old, disabled, or just lazy."

"Wow, what an amazing experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the luxury yacht. Our 8 year old loved exploring the boat and watching the planes take off and land. There aren’t many flights a day so it wasn’t a disturbance at all. Our host Valerie was really responsive with any questions we had and the property manager Erwann was super friendly and very accommodating regarding arrival times. Thanks so much guys, we loved it.
