"Minor repairs in my room would have changed my perception. Nothing major just little stuff, taps loose, hole for the bathroom door larger than the handle, toilet paper holder needed tightening, simple stuff to fix and then a totally different impression.
Check in seemed to take a long time yet when I finally got to the counter I was only two minutes to get my key and be on my way to my room. No idea why those in front of me took so long each. Restaurant was excellent but had only dinner hours. I kept looking at lunch and then late afternoon but it wasn’t open till dinner time. There was a separate breakfast restaurant but it wasn’t open at lunch either. Fortunately there is no shortage of great restaurants in easy walking from the hotel. Lastly, $60 valet and no self park is very expensive. There is no self park so if you are there with a car be prepared. I rented a car from across the street for $49 and didn’t have to park it."
