"Great breakfast to start the day with lots of choice for everyone. Location is extremely convenient, very central and minutes away by foot from Malioboro street. Tropical garden and pool make for a perfect stay! Best of all…the staff which goes out of its way to deliver the best service possible…always with a smile on their face. Thank you Ms Tyas for organizing our daily trips to Prambanan and Borobudur (entrance tickets, car with driver, lunch…) 🙏"

"It seems that with the competition with so many new hotels The Phoenix hotel has gone through a lot of changes, especially the bkfast which is the same every single day, juices are not freshly squeezed, orange juice from powder. The sauna needs desperately a renovation, old towels, and what is very annoying is to be forced to inhale all the cigarette smoke from the locals that do no respect the bkfast area and smoke heavily, The hotel should have a smoke section, also they kind of force the...

"Goed hotel waar voor je geld. Ontbijt en lunch fantastisch. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hebben genoten in dit hotel."

"banyak semut dikamar, wifi lemot, staffnya bagus, kamar bersih, kamar mandi agak bau.lokasi dekat dengan pasar ngasem,alun2,taman sari.overall bagus dan memuaskan selama nginap disana."

"It’s a very unusual location for a hotel which is quite distant on a hill with shuttle service provided to local venues and restaurants. It’s not an ideal hotel for elderly or guests with mobility issues as the rooms are high and with long flight of stairs. There two swimming pools the largest quite far to get to and with no staff. The rooms are traditional Javanese Joglos which can be quite charming for photos but very dark inside as one cannot open the windows owing the heat from outside , so...

"Ok"

"I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Da Djokja! I appreciated the warm welcome from the hotel staff, especially those in the lobby, who made me feel comfortable and welcome. The gym was another highlight of my stay! It has a great view of the pool from the gym. I find it really cute of how small the gym is and how much equipment it can fit in there. It is also well maintained. I also really liked how spacious my suite was, along with the comfortable bed and large bathroom. I also enjoyed the...

"Sink always backed up, could have been cleaner."

"I really enjoyed the outstanding service and cleanliness of the property. The food was very good and I enjoyed spending quiet time on the rooftop pool. A great value."

"Dirty room, stain in the sink, dirty floor, room smell moldy, towel turn dirty just 1 use. Shower room has mold on the tile. Drain clogged on shower area and sink. AC make weird noise all night. But I can say breakfast is great and location is excellent."
