"I stayed for 6 nights (5 nights thru Expedia, had to extend 1 night thru front counter due to booking mistake on my end). House keeping never came to clean anything in the room or to restock clean towels. A smell of mildew permeated throughout the whole room and stuck to my clothes. I'd be shocked if there wasn't some mold problem hiding somewhere."

"Well run Inn. Owners are on site. Gail and Darren are friendly and knowledgeable. They run a good operation and care about there guests. Breakfast was included and it was a home-cooked meal. Can't say enough about there professional demeanor. Would stay there next time we are in the area."

"Room was very clean and comfortable and cool on a hot summer day. The property was very well taken care of. The staff was caring and helpful. For a relatively inexpensive road side motel I loved it. All roadside motels should gauge themselves to the Windmill Motel."

"Over the 4th of July weekend, some days breakfast was not served; I should have been told in advance. Also, advanced notice is needed regarding the beds; all are elevated in the main house, requiring wooden steps (precarious for me); the beds of regular height are in the carriage house. Customers need to be forewarned and given a choice."

"Although the location is great and my room was clean, the entire house had a musty smell. I found it cluttered where the refrigerator was, didn't even see it until I was leaving. The bed was comfortable and I slept with windows open. Also never saw a sole while I was there."

"Cozy and comfortable cabin with plentiful natural light. About a 10 minute drive from Berkshire East Mountain resort which provided a fun day of family skiing. Generous and thoughtful host; a good bit of snow fell on one of our days, and he let us know where to park to avoid having to move our car for the plow, which made it easy to get in and out. Looking forward to staying there in the summer."

"Lovely, very clean, and well appointed. Host was amazing, 2 rocking chairs on front stoop overlooking the water was beautiful, peaceful.The interiorand decor was beautiful and very comfortable. We used our kayaks, which was great. It is an in̈cline downhill to carry your kayak. "

"It was a lovely four day stay. There was everything we needed in the large kitchen. The livingroom was comfortable and spacious. We especially enjoyed the back deck and the view of the mountains. If we return to the area, we'll definitely stay here again."
