"Sauna was amazing"

"Excellent hotel. Nothing to complain about"

"We loved our spacious room. Very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we had!"

"I loved this property. We stayed in September so puffins had left by the time we got there. It is a bit remote but the staff were all great and the food was delicious. Thus place just has really awesome vibes. Would highly recommend."

"Basic hotel room that was very clean."

"We get that this area is massively popular so this hotel was our most expensive during the whole trip. However, I think it’s quite outdated. It needs to be modernised in terms of look and feel. The decor and bathroom design make it feel old and grubby. And it’s not grubby! It was clean but the style made it feel different. Same with the dining room, again, understand it’s expensive in Iceland, but for a £50 main course I’d like a “prettier” dining room. The tables and chairs feel sort of like a...

"Really large windows with good view. Very spacious room and very well maintained. Looks almost brand new construction. Breakfast good."

"Clean room, great location, quiet, awesome view."

"Our stay here was very convenient. We arrived late around 2100 and were able to have them do a load of laundry for us. It was a little pricey but we had a group and split it. The shared kitchen was really nice, however it was lacking in a couple of places. There weren’t any bowls, oven or stove top. However, the site was bigger than you’d think with many places to hang out for the night and a restaurant. Very peaceful and would recommend!"

"Great place to see the northern lights - unfortunately we didn’t get to see them, but nice place outside the city"

"The hotel and it's staff were great. We had views of the fijord and the mountains. Dinner in the restaurant was fun."

"the dormitory option is not well executed"

"The room was clean but quite dark even with all lights on and the wifi was not consistent. We expected to check in at 3 pm as indicated but we had to wait until 3:40 to get service at the front desk. Perhaps understaffed??"

"The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable but the bathroom was quite small. The staff was very helpful, she even taught us how to take pictures of the auroras. The breakfast buffet was very good."

"Very quiet. Clean. Heated by geothermal energy. Wonderful stay"
