"As an Expedia perk, our room was upgraded from an Economy Room to a Standard Room, which was a wonderful surprise. The room was clean, fresh, and smelled pleasant. The staff were exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food was also excellent and exceeded our expectations. The only minor issue was a slight pungent smell coming from the washroom whenever we opened the door. It may have been isolated to our room, but we hope the management can look into it. "The cabin was clean and renovated, the only thing is if you visit during summertime, the courtains do not fully block the sunlight, and even with our masks was hard to sleep. The ambience and view is lovely! would love to have included breakfast, they had it for an extra price."

"We stayed two nights on our Ring road trip, and it was one of the best places we’ve stayed on the island. Very comfortable beds, spacious 2 bedroom suite, gorgeous view of the fyord and very convenient to a grocery store, coffee house and a walking path. Our kids loved the maritime museum we’ve found nearby and the short hike to the Easter cave. Overall, we had a great stay which allowed us to rest between the strenuous activities and enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful little town."

"Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Nebengebäude, welches einem Containerbau entspricht. Das Zimmer war sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es hat ab nichts gefehlt. An der ein oder anderen Stelle ist das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dies sieht man bspw. im Flur. Gutes Frühstück. Für abends steht auch ein Restaurant zur Verfügung."
