"The hotel had been sold and the staff had all left bar a few. The bar was closed and the dining room was closed. The roller blind was broken and there was no heating. The shower cubical was more suited for a small child getting in and out rather than an adult"

"Address listed is wrong (but easy to find correct place) and door doesn't lock, but otherwise a great stay and very communicative host."

"This place is absolutely beautiful. The beds are very comfy, the hosts are incredible, they were in touch to make sure everything is OK and if we needed anything. The whole place is very very clean. It is so homely, I definitely recommend it, and would certainly book it again over any hotel anytime! Thank you so much"

"Our trip was a couple in their 60’s, one in their 30’s, and a family of 4 (kids 8 and 12). It was special to be together in a single home. The hot tub was a relief after some long days exploring. The house was clean and comfortable and not far from the stores. We heard daily from the host. This was our welcome to Scotland and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there!"
