We stayed here for 10 days with our 2 grown-up kids and especially enjoyed the vacation-feeling in the house and on the island but were also happy about the closeness to Stockholm! The ferry goes every 2 hours and is connected to the subway system. At the house there are many cosy places to hang out - a great rooftop terrace, and an even bigger one on the lower level with a Pizza-oven and lots of places to sit and gather. "Spenderade en natt på Mörby Hotel inför ett besök på Danderyds sjukhus. Fräscha nyrenoverad rum och en fantastiskt skön säng. Ett stort plus var att jag kund gå till hotellet inifrån sjukhuset, kändes så tryggt att bo där ⭐️ Så tråkigt att höra att de stänger ner ett så fint hotell i veckan! "

"Hotel is very close to the station, is clean and well appointed. The ac seems to be an issue when i was visiting in 76F / 24C days. The vent is very small to allow for airflow for an entire room. Staff said the ac only gets as cold as about 20deg and their system is old so nothing can be done. The staff brought in fan to help with cooling. Otherwise a really good hotel. May be perfect for winter/cooler days."

"Hotel Birger Karl is welcoming with very helpful and thoughtful staff; my room was relatively (double) spacious and well designed with contemporary decor and tub in which one can soak as well as a good shower and it was very clean. On the main floor there was a comfortable lounge and waiting area and...the breakfast was incredible with fresh fruits, yogourt, different breads, a selection of hot items, cereals, espresso and much more. "Great place! Nice and clean. Breakfast buffet was the highlight…amazing spread. Only couple of negatives - there was construction in the property. Was a little inconvenience. Location is not great. Right on the edge of a commercial port and a little away from central Stockholm"
