We did walk the "direct beach access" path to discover it takes you over to another street, then you walk down about a block to get to the beach access. "We absolutely loved the hot tub on the second story back porch. It faced the yard, not the canal. The place was cozy for two people but no more. There is an induction plate to cook on, so we brought our non-stick induction pan to make life easy. We loved hanging in the hammock in the porch area.
