"We stayed in a family room. It was very clean and spacious. The grounds were spectacular and beautiful to walk-through. The castle itself with the history, and all the art and decor created an elegant atmosphere. This was my familie’s favorite day on our 12 day trip. Are breakfast in the morning overlook the front gardens, and breakfast itself was perfect."

"Room was large but definitely needed a facelift/upgrade (and that was considering we had already received an upgrade from the hotel!). In addition, the hotel only opened the day we arrived after renovations (not flagged in advance by either Hotels,Com or the hotel itself !!!) so limited dining and bar options were available so a bit disappointing."

"Lovely twin room with good shower in ensuite. Excellent kitchen/common room area with lots of cooking options - oven, microwave etc. Sofas for groups to relax. Parking would normally be good but on the Saturday night, the local GAA team were playing and the car park and surrounding streets were rammed. Only disappointment was the check in as no-one from the property was there. We had to phone up the international ( for us) number causing extra expense. It might help future visitors if the...
