Top County Carlow Hotel Reviews

Midlands Park Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Disappointed to arrive and because we choose not to book a b&b rate parking was not covered. We spent more in the bar and choose to have a meal in the steakhouse rather than breakfast. Which was considerably more. Parking should be covered if drinking or dining in the hotel in my opinion. Why is it dependent on you having breakfast."

Ferrycarrig Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Really enjoyed our stay in Ferrycarrig hotel. The breakfast was very good. Big credit for the real bacon rashers used. The leisure centre is a very nice space starting with the entrance with a lovely selection of fern trees water features & some sculptures. Plenty of cubicles for privacy. Big spaces so you don’t feel cramped when changing. Have to give special mention to 2 staff members Richard in the bar & Chelsea in the restaurant. They were very efficient & pleasant."

Mount Wolseley Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort

10/10 Excellent

"We checked in and discovered our room didn’t have a bath, we were swapped to a room with one immediately, not a problem to the staff. The room was clean, spacious and the bathroom was also spotless. Bath and shower were separate, water pressure was fab and hot water always available no matter what time of day you were using it. Mini fridge, kettle, coffee machine with pods, hair dryer, iron and ironing board all provided. Breakfast selection was plentiful and hot food was replenished regularly. Many options to choose from for cereal, continental, hot food and pastries. There was even fresh honey on the comb, what a treat! We had breakfast 3 mornings and never had the same thing twice. We ate in both Frederick’s and Aaron lounge, amazing food available from both. The cocktails were also very good, great taste and not too heavy with the alcohol, you could taste all the elements of each. Lastly, the staff were all very attentive, friendly and made you feel at home. Would highly recommend a stay here either as a couple or family."

Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort

10/10 Excellent

"We had an unbelievable time our room was gorgeous, spacious and very clean.I had told the lady Rosie on reception that it was my husband's birthday so they left him a plate of gorgeous sweet treats and a lovely card that was so nice of them to do.We don't play golf but the grounds are beautiful and if you walk down the hill it backs onto the blessington lake breakfast was soooo tasty and a lovely choice of pastries. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will be back soon."
