"A nice property albeit a bit worn. We had two rooms and both had some issues with things being in a state of disrepair- faucets, furnace, stovetop. Rooms had thin enough walls to hear the neighbors. Hot tub hours start mid morning which was disappointing when we planned to have a soak before breakfast. Be prepared for a big upsell at check in which they called a “welcome packet”. This was a big annoyance where they tried to sell us all sorts of excursions that we were clear we didn’t want and...

"The outdoor deck/bar was great! Didn't have time to enjoy the hot tub or fire pit but they looked wonderful! Also enjoyed that the property was away from all the hustle and bustle of the main part of town. The shuttle to trails was right across the street and many trailheads were within driving distance. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Great hotel with amazing location"

"My family had a wonderful time. This lodge is high recommended. Definitely worth checking out"

"Amara’s location is excellent, right in the center of town. The staff and cleanliness were awesome. The rooms could use some updating, although updated bathrooms looked and worked great! We enjoyed our stay overall, but we expected the hotel to have more space to roam and hang. The views were stunning!"

"Such wonderful place, and is maintained unbelievably good ! Thank you so much for all your hard work!!!!"

"Muy bueno, experiencia, calidad y trato."

"Great breakfast, super helpful staff, the only thing I would complain was the bathtub drainage was not working at the first night, but the front desk was so helpful and provided the solution. The overall experience was great! Will come back"

I expect that this was another hotel that Grand Canyon Hotel had bought, because it was dated. The layout was strange, so there was a long walk from the elevator to our room. The room was disappointing. It was very large, and it was a true suite with a room with a desk, TV, and sofa. However, you can...
