"Clean room and great location in Grand Canyon Village. Check-in, dining and gift shop were only a couple minutes walk from the room. Great pizza in the pizza restaurant."
"Thunderbird Lodge was the perfect location for our 3-night stay to visit the Grand Canyon. Our room was no more than 20 metres from the edge of the canyon itself and the South Rim Trail passes through the site of the village's main hotel / lodge area, so it's super easy to access the trail whenever you like. Staff were really friendly and we found the prices of food and gifts in the shops to be reasonable - especially given you're a captive audience!"
"El Tovar is a landmark and historical site. Watching the sunset and sunrise was magical. The food in El Tovar dining room was excellent we had Cobb salad and filet dinners and it was on par with anywhere. "
"Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. We stayed in the suite on the 3 floor and it far exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect room for us after our travels. The restaurant was very relaxing, aesthetically appealing and the food was very good we ate there for dinner 2 nights and breakfast buffet 2 mornings. The gift shop was nice and had a good selection of souvenirs etc.It was in walking distance to the shops and visitor center in town. A herd of elk even came to graze on the lawn at night. We only went to the pool and hot tub one night. It was very clean and well chlorinated (a little too much for my eyes but it’s also inside so I assume that had something to do with it). The hot tub was nice but small if there was a lot of people thankfully it was pretty quiet the night we went. We would definitely stay there again if we visit the area again."
