"Loved everything about the property lush, tropical, sounds of birds and animals. Just what everyone needs to relax."

"This was a great place to truly experience the beauty of this part of Costa Rica. It is a long drive and one must be careful to take the right roads but we had a great experience and wish we could have stayed longer."

"Great stay, great food, great chocolate, great staff. A MUST!!!! Great first night in Costa Rica, they really made it memorable. Definitely will be back."

"Best Stay of Our Costa Rica Trip — Malekus Mountain Lodge This was, hands down, the best place we stayed during our 10 days in Costa Rica. Not only is the property itself beautiful, but we had the pleasure of being the only guests, so Roger and Rosy treated us like family. "The room was nice and the breakfast very delicious. The pool was closed, there was no water in it maybe they renovate it, not sure. To get there is quite a long drive on gravel roads but we enjoyed seeing so many birds in the morning."

"The property was quiet, away from town a few minutes. The hosts were so friendly and wonderful to us. The bungalows were in very good shape and very clean. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!"

"Everything was fantastic. Very helpful host Nana. House is in the provate secure area behind the electric gate. Lots of space, beautiful inside and out. Fully equipped kitchen and even laundry room. Loved the huge patio and the garden."
