"We loved our stay at this property. It was beautiful and well maintained. The family that owned the property were really friendly and cooked a full breakfast for us each morning. We loved how quiet the property was, the jacuzzi, and all the wildlife around our bungalow. The only somewhat concerning thing for me was the full glass wall in the bathroom, but I was able to work around it and find ways to have some privacy."

"Lovely self sustaining eco resort in the midst of the forest. We loved the food, the coziness of the cabin, the yoga classes, and wandering around the property. The farm tour and the night tour were fun activities to do with a 4 year old. We did not like: occasional smell of sewage around the property, especially around the pools. Dated bathrooms in cabins - needs a refresh. Construction noise around the property. "

It rained the whole night and we could hear the loud noise of the water falling on the tin roof. "The Retreat is gorgeous. The views of the Volcano and Lake are amazing. The pescatarian menu is perfect for vegetarians and pescatarians. All three meals are served. We did not have meals included but very much enjoyed dinner and breakfast there.
