This was our first visit to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful with a great full breakfast. Room was spacious, staff was friendly & the housekeepers sweet. We had dinner twice in the rooftop dinning room overlooking the bay. The sunset was amazing. The waitstaff friendly , the food five star. We also danced to the music which made it very romantic. Lovely place

The Ara Maris which is referred to as the new hotel was one of my best stays at any hotel in all my travels, which is considerable. The service from all the staff whether it be registration, concierge, dining, pool, cleaning or spa wax consistently top notch. It is a physically pleasing site and is close to all the shops and restaurants in the main area of Sorrento. We were there for 8 days and could have stayed longer. The path winding through the cliffs to the small bar and lounge chairs along the water is very unique. Very small wading pool on upper terrace. Classic double room was small and non-descript. Disappointed with the size of balcony and the sea view from room!

Great location, excellent staff and nice amenities

Me nd my Husband had such an amazing time at San Cristoforo felt like a honeymoon, the property is very well kept nd the rooms are very luxurious nd we also had the vesivius View which was amazing. Overall it felt like a palace, staff was very friendly nd helpful, also the breakfast nd dinner beyond delicious nd very romantic dinner. Outside the property only has few places u can eat and best spot was the Rooftop lounge. Thank you will definitely visit again!!!

I absolutely love this hotel. Have stayed there several times and wouldn’t think about staying anywhere else. The location is so convenient to the square and right in the middle of al the activity. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast is always delicious. Mario does a wonderful job making sure everyone has anything they want for breakfast.

Excellent location. Walk to Pompeii archaeological park.

Great location less than a block from the main plaza. Our room was right next to the elevator and we never heard a sound. Only a few blocks to the train station and bus stops. Many great restaurants nearby. Best breakfast buffet in our whole 26 days in Italy. Left a jacket and they had it sent to our next hotel on Capri for a minimal charge.

This is a great hotel from staff to location to views. It also has probably the best restaurant on the coast, better than Eolo.

One of the best boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed at

We stayed here recently, family of four with two kids. The hotel is neat and clean, modern looking and the the food is amazing, especially the buffet breakfast which is included in the price. The location can't be beat, it's right in front of the pompei ruins and there are awesome food places right near the hotel. The staff were amazing too. I would love to stay again at this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was delicious, and there was something for every palette 😋 The shuttle service to the town Square Square was convenient and saved us money! Staying here made our 1st visit to Sorrento pleasant, memorable, and relaxing 😌

we stayed two nights. very nice and worm hostpitability, good location, very clean, not expensive, very good resterant, wonderful view from the balcony,

Staff was excellent and very helpful in pointing us where we needed to be. Common areas were beautiful and breakfast very good. Room was nice with a good bed. Bathroom was small but adequate. Wifi was difficult to use requiring repeated log on and my mail app refused to work with it.
