"Excellent hotel in all aspects, staff extremely helpful and friendly"

"I`m booking the Isann Villa. Special offer with good price. I`m arrieved the Isann Villa and the staff told me.... I must change the Villa. Why ?... Staff gave me no details. The new Villa was the Sothea Hom Villa. This Villa was very outside ! 10 min. walk to Main Street. 2,5 km to the Night Market, Very outside. Lot of cost for Tuk Tuk. The Room was big, clean and nice. Ther Manager and the Staff was friendly. The Sothea Villa had not a Pool. In the Room no Cool Box for drinks !"

"Everyone was so helpful and nice. We were greeted immediately with a cool towel and a juice drink. Our flight came in around 10 a.m. which means we got to the hotel well before the 2 p.m. check in but they were able to let us check in early. Pro tip, the hotel offers a pick up/drop off from the air port at a specific price. It is very much the going rate for the ride, so just accept their ride. We did not because previous hotels overcharged for this service and it would have been much easier to...

"Excellent hotel. I can’t say enough about this place and the staff. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind, helpful, polite, and professional. I wish I had noted their names because they truly stood out. The hotel grounds are beautiful, the pool is lovely, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the cherry on top, fresh and absolutely delicious. I traveled solo and stayed for three nights, and I felt very safe and comfortable the entire time."

"First before arriving I got two messages offering the use of their car to pick me up from the airport for $35. I hired a Grab car for $15 so I appreciate the offer but decline. Very easy to find Grab cars when you arrive at Tecno airport…just go to the far left. Huge sign, you can’t miss. I get to the hotel and the entrance is very modest, on what looks like a small side street. I thought I was at the wrong place but I wasn’t. The entrance is fit for a 2 star hotel. But then you walk in....

"Room is really large, comfy design, clean, and staffs are really nice. The size of hotel is perfect, not too small, nor too large, nice size. The location is perfect, but not so loud at night. swimming pool gives nice cooling down as outside is hot. I got 3rd floor room, still view was nice. Breakfast was also very good"

Much of the character and charm comes from the friendly, helpful staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The restaurant food is great and good value and the roof top pool although small gives amazing views around the city. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "Our villa was wonderful, large spacious room. The staff came twice to our villa to carry out housekeeping. The Royal Sands Koh Rong certainly has an eye for detail and think of everything a traveller needs. We are very glad we stayed here. Special mention to Kean and Sela who were amazingly welcoming and assisted with all our various queries. Sela booked us a car to pick us up from Sihanoukville pier to our hotel. The Royal Sands made our stay on Koh Rong perfect!"
