"The pool water was murky/dirty upon check in on July 3. A sign stated that the pool would be inspected on July 15. It should have been repaired prior to the July 4th holiday! There has been a great change from last year's owners. We have stayed there several years in a row and the pool was clean. The breakfast hours have been reduced from 7 am to 9 am instead of 10 am. "The room was clean and quiet. The property is nice with a cool midcentury modern vibe. The only issue I had was with check-in. I got early check-in (which is available with a fee). I got there around noon and was immediately dismissed by the lady at the desk with “check-in is at 4” without checking to see if I had early check-in - she checked me in when I explained I paid for early check-in. If you’re looking to do a lot of things in town, this place is kind of out of the way. But nice...

"It’s very basic old motel with limited upgrades … ie bathroom door sticks closed every time need help getting out. It was clean and more affordable than others so we got what we booked being we spent limited time at the hotel."

"The cottage and room was very clean. The staff at registration and parking were very helpful. The private beach and beach amenities were a nice perk. Pool was clean but we didn’t use it. Only two minor issues we had were wasps got in our second floor room, twice. And housekeeping forgot to leave clean towels one morning. Otherwise 5/5! Excellent location too!"

"The rooms were spacious and fairly clean..there is outside and inside pool..the breakfast area was very small..and sadly one family with a lot of kids took over the waffle maker and bagel toaster the entire time breakfast was avail from 730-930 every day we were there, 4 mornings...so no one else could enjoy hot breakfast..someone should have said something to that family besides the guests who did! Besides that the staff was very nice and accommodating!!"
