"Miguel at the bar was our main server and he was a big help. The meals at the restaurant were lovely - excellent view of the ocean. Food was great. Converting euros to CND$ makes it all feel quite expensive. But we felt overall that the value equation was there compared to other European destinations. Rooms were great, kept clean by cleaning staff. One recommendation is to invest in a larger TV for the Bar area. Watching the world cup on a 48 inch screen was somewhat comical. Great location...

"Fabulous property. Location is fantastic in quiet Ribeira Grande. Easy to get to all parts of Sao Miguel. My only advice is that if you come for the outdoor pool, it is very cold, and days with sun are elusive."

"Staff was very nice. Wife and I traveled with 2 teenage kids and the suite with 2 roll aways was the best way for us to stay (kids choice bunks only for kids up to 10). The hotel is walking distance from lots of restaurants and shops. P Delgada is convenient to highway if you want to go East or West for activities."

"The hotel is exceptional and the area where it is located is breathtaking. While you have to pay in order to use the geothermal pools anywhere else on the island, there are geothermal pools right here in the hotel for your use anytime of the day or night! The hotel leaves little treats and trinkets in your room for you throughout most of your stay, there are incredible tasting teas with cookies in the lobby area, and breakfast was divine! We highly recommend this hotel!"
