"Nice stay and great staff. Good location, walkable to the fortress."

"Interesting hotel right inside the walls. That part was excellent. The hotel was perhaps a little under staffed and had challenges managing checkouts of several independent guests with luggage trying to get rides out of the walls to the parking. The bathroom was bright clean and modern. Breakfast was very nice. It didn’t seem like the hotel had an operating bar or restaurant the night we checked in. It was raining so we had to go out looking for options, which was fine but I’m not sure why the...

"It’s a fine property to stay for one night. Rooms are very small but it’s all ok. Nothing special but all good for the"

"Beautiful family run hotel in an excellent location close to the city walls. Bars and restaurants on your doorstep and lovely little cafe opposite for breakfast. Hotel breakfast is 13 euros per person, substantial buffet breakfast well worth the money. Just an 8 minute walk into the city with lots of beautiful restaurants. Would recommend Hotel Du Pont Vieux to anyone visiting Carcassonne and would definitely stay again if returning."

"The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, a stone’s throw from the medieval citie. I stayed in room 4 on the ground floor of the hotel for a 3 night trip. The room was beautiful and well equipped with coffee machine, water, air conditioning, bath and shower. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our visit. A big thank you to the night porter for my birthday drink. I would definitely recommend and visit again."

Gracias!"

"Receptionist extremely friendly, facilities fantastic for our overnight stopover. Great 2 bedroom appartment."

"The representative at the front desk (older lady) did not communicate with us about breakfast nor the water available on site. Our booking was very last minute because our previous booking elsewhere had been a scam. When we arrived at the back gate, then at the front desk, the rep was unfriendly which made us feel unwelcome."

"We had a lovely apartment with a separate bathroom. It had a sofa bed table chairs and a kitchen. The breakfast was expensive but very good food at lots of choices. The staff were very friendly."

"Lovely hotel in fabulous setting. Great breakfast although brasserie and beach restaurant food not great."

"This was terrific value for money and would happily stay again. While it's a good 15 mins or so up a hill from the station, for £40 or so, there's nothing at all to complain about- big rooms with cooking facilities, microwave and even a dishwasher should you need it, a lovely swimming pool and staff who were knowlegable and extremely helpful; particularly Guaytan , who couldn't have been more efficient and personable. All in all, very good."

"Absolutely lovely hotel. Staff was super friendly abd helpful. In a good location, close to parking and shopping. Would return in a heartbeat."

"Beautiful property, good location, lots to do, staff is very accommodating - Marjorie at reception was exceptionally helpful, room was very comfortable & peaceful. Lovely setting for a holiday. Breakfast is plentiful and very good - crêpes were delicious. Restaurants use lots of local ingredients and wine from the Estate is very good. Overall a very pleasant experience."
