"Overbooked rooms and then didn’t accommodate or discount room even though they said they were going to."

"WiFi was off when we arrived but wasn’t their fault. No microwave in the room. Staff was excellent and very helpful."

"I would definitely stay here again. The room is small but so very clean it sparkles."

"The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid."

"Beautiful house!! Looks better in person. Very clean, well maintained. The outside is just as nice. Appreciated the complimentary snacks!"

"Very friendly and responsive owners. Very comfortable stay!"

"We paid for two nights but left early the second day. Just for clarity, this is probably a 1970’s single wide trailer with a window unit. I was expecting a house on the beach. The 100 feet of beach is across the street with private beach signs on both sides blocking you from exploring. You get what you pay for. I should have read other reviews before booking."

"This may very well be the cleanest property on the island. It’s quiet, secure, easy to find, clean, well decorated, and parking was right beside the building"

"Everything was perfect! Very clean, beautiful apartment, with a nice bathroom and kitchen- everything we were hoping for!"

"This is a great location if you want to check out the lake superior Lakeshore, as well as Bayfield and Madeleine Island. Everything is very conveniently located you can walk to most places in Ashland right from the place. The apartment is pretty basic with kitchen items, but enough to do what you need to do. Very comfortable bad and very quiet."

"The place was clean and perfect for our trip to Madeline island for the marathon run weekend. We enjoyed very much! Thank you!"
