"The main house, gardens and grounds were excellent and well maintained. Our room in the Mews was very large with french windows opening on to a shared patio, essential in this heat. There was no air conditioning, or fan and our phone in the room did not work. We were supplied with a faulty portable fan, but in the end the open doors provided enough cooling air. The shower was superb with enough hot water whenever we needed it. We could have done with a table and chairs to sit and organise...

We asked for a different room. Told it was fully booked the car park said otherwise. This hotel hss certainly gone downhill since we started using it years ago. Drinks are extortionate also you have to pay cssh for happy hour bit odd. The car park is mow privately owned snd a hassle to pay and expensive...

"We had a lovely one-night stay at Broome Park Hotel with our little dog before catching the ferry from Dover. It’s a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location, with stunning grounds that are perfect for an early evening walk. All the staff we encountered were incredibly welcoming and friendly. "We only stayed for 2 nights but it couldn't have been better. Staff were excellent especially at breakfast, the room was impeccable I couldn't believe the size of the shower it was massive. I came with my sister so had a twin room and it was the first time we have ever had a 4ft bed each. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be coming back again, thank you Hampton. The centre of town was a five minutes walk away and the train station was across the road, ideal."

"This hotel location is great, only a short 10 minute walk into Canterbury, and access main roads easily. The breakfasts are very good, fresh and with a wide choice to pick at. The restaurant is well set out, comfortable and very appealing. "This venue is very traditional and in an era from 1970s. I kind of like that! Staff were lovely and food was great. Golf course was beautiful although had been suffering with this summer heat. Buggies a must for me. Didnt use the spa facilities. Love the cricket memorabilia!"

"Hotel was in a lovely setting right on the river.It did have bad reviews but dont take any notice of them .The room was spotless and well equipped and overlooked the river .We had dinner there and food was good the only slight issue is the menu which should have a few more normal dishes but apart from that it was good as was the breakfast served looking out at the river.Parking was no problem loads of room.We will be going back later this year."
