"Our stay at Thistle Ridge was truly something special. We live in Pinehurst, North Carolina, and over the course of our 30-year marriage, we’ve been fortunate enough to travel to many beautiful places. We can honestly say that Thistle Ridge is by far one of the nicest, cleanest, and most peaceful places we have ever stayed.From the moment we arrived, we felt an incredible sense of peace and relaxation. The home is absolutely beautiful, warm, inviting, and comfortable, with the kind of natural surroundings that make you want to slow down and simply enjoy being together.Our stay became even more memorable when our daughter got engaged while we were there. It was such a beautiful and meaningful moment, and we feel incredibly grateful that Thistle Ridge was the setting for this special milestone in our family’s life.We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to our next visit. Thistle Ridge isn’t just a beautiful vacation home—it’s a place where wonderful memories are made and cherished for years to come.Thank you for sharing such a special place with us. "Well stocked kitchen and house. So many indoor/outdoor options for kids. Fly fishing was also a huge hit in the creek (we brought our own gear). Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful location, approximately 15-20 minutes to Boone."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience was great! Creekside comfort had everything we needed. The cabin was next door to our son and daughter in law. We surprised them.We just had to walk next door to "surprise"them."

"Great lodging for our ladies retreat. Very clean and well stocked. The host has thought of everything you could need for your stay and if you forgot it in town...it was probably there. Felt just like home. Only a short drive into town for dinner and shopping but we loved the peaceful setting when winding down. Would definitely not hesitate to stay here again."

"This is a beautiful little cabin in a nice setting. When we first arrived the hummers buzzed me each time I went to the car to for the load in. The screen porch was a great place for sitting and thinking or enjoying a beverage. Our two Russell terriers loved it as well.The kitchen is well appointed with nice appliances and everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would have liked to try out the fireplace, but it was a little too warm. Speaking of which the AC worked great to keep the cabin comfortable.The one thing the cabin lacked is a fence around the yard for our dogs. We don't let them out unleashed so they weren't able to run. We knew that beforehand so were prepared to deal with it. Paul was easy to get hold of and we exchanged texts a few times. The one drawback is our GPS unit at times was completely confused on the secondary and tertiary roads, not uncommon in the NC mountains."

"Very warm cozy and private it was like a home away from home very beautiful home inside and out the bed slept amazing and we loved seeing the deer everyday"
