"We had an amazing stay at the resort. We were especially impressed by the Private Island — the flamingos and the beach were all outstanding. The boat ride to the island was a lot of fun as well. The hotel’s location is excellent, being close to downtown, the port, and many great restaurants. Overall, we were absolutely delighted with our stay. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!"

"The resort was spotless! Rooms and restroom were very clean! Staff was very friendly and helpful especially in the buffet restaurant!! Everything was awesome!! Would definitely recommend to friends and family! Just make sure to make dinner reservations for property restaurants or you will not be able to eat on property! We had to go off property because I forgot to make a reservation and all the restaurants were booked!!!"

"Room was perfect, cleaned every day and extremely comfortable. Staff in the whole resort was phenomenal especially Nelly and Darwin. The only grumpy face we encountered was the gentleman who stood in the entrance, he wasn’t very pleasant and made of feel like a problem. The Margot was the best restaurant with absolutely amazing atmosphere and food was unforgettable. Will be back."

"Absolutely loved this resort! The food was great, pool/beach area was clean and well maintained. Didn’t have to get up at day break to find a chair on the beach. Staff are very helpful and speak 4 languages fluently. Hotel is within walking distance from lots of shopping and bars. Definitely stay here again. Only con was hot water in the shower. But the room was comfortable and spacious."

"The Pool and Beach chairs have a ridiculous reservation system. You have to reserve your pool chairs and if you don’t get there by 9:00am you lose your reservation and have to pay $60.00 for Non-Comp chairs, per day! The Beach chairs, if you would like to sit by the water/ocean are $80.00! They say this is for safety and avoids arguments over held chairs. I could understand their “safety” reason, if “safety” wasn’t $60-80 dollars! It’s just a quick money grab. It is a bad look for the Hyatt...

"This property was amazing! So clean and beautiful, multiple pools and beach access - the sunsets were unreal! Breakfast was so good we looked forward to it everyday and the cafe that was open until 11pm was great! The strip was right across the hotel, many places we had to go to we just walked across. While we did rent a car we felt like we really didn’t have to (other than to go to baby beach) as everything was within a 2-10 minute walk. Would really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting...

"There was a roach in the middle of the lobby bar. We originally booked the place and at the last minute they told us the palace was closed so they moved us to Antillas. The restaurants were always full and at capacity so had to eat the buffet every night."

"Very nice setting with the palm trees and occasional flowers that were well maintained. pools were very clean and also well maintained. The restaurant was a bit disappointing, the whole week of our stay they were "out of potatoes" not sure why, a store called Super Food less than a mile away had plenty for sale. The food was bland and didn't have any seasonings. The restaurant in the hotel in front of ours had better selection and taste. The room had roaches. about 3 inch long. 3 were dead...
